I combine thoughtful character creation with detailed worldbuilding to craft engaging narratives. My attention to detail with my desire to create a connection drives me to write stories filled with realistic dialogue representing people from all walks of life.

  • Branching Dialogue

    Context

    Aria and Jayce face each other at the core of the dying planet, Xanus. Xanus was once the shining star of a system filled with intergalactic travel but civil wars have doomed to a slow end after the crystal core powering their planet began decaying.

    Aria and Jayce are twins from another planet, Corynth. They traveled to Xanus and Aria flearns she can fuse with the crystal to revitalize it. This comes at the cost of her own life and Jayce must make a hard choice.

  • Character Creation

    Context

    Soni Tetsu is a half-Japanese, half-Irish child living a luxurious life as the daughter of a prominent iron tycoon. Living in Navan Town in County Meath, Ireland, Soni has just turned 12 and inherits all the struggles with this difficult age.

    Her father has been grooming her to succeed their successful iron production business but Soni is reluctant to accept this. Especially when she finds out that her family may have a connection to fairies.

  • Screenplay Excerpt

    Context

    Neva Angeles is a city run by AI that relegates humans to resource mining. The AI graft chosen humans with metallic wings, dubbed Nephilim, to police the other humans. Cassiel breaks his programming and rescues a woman marked for death and is hunted as a result.

    The players control Cassie as he flees through the neon alleyways of Neva Angeles while chased by merciless hunters. Escape means the life of a fugitive, failure means death.

  • Bark Callout Sheet

    Context

    Stafire is a fan-favorite DC comic character and popularized by Cartoon Network’s Teen Titans show. A warrior princess from the planet Tamaran, she is characterized by her sweet nature and naievty towards Earth’s customs.

    Starfire has a recognizable character voice that is both endearing and unique. I have written a bark sheet for her to show my ability to work with pre-existing established franchises. There are barks for all types of situations with different emotions and varied reactions that are accurate to her character.

  • Gaming Storyboard

    Context

    The Nîchehis, a race of human-like beings who are born with their hearts gripped in their hands. While this gives them the power to create spells with their emotions as a catalyst, it also leaves them vulnerable to external influences.

    This is a 2D side-scroller, Metroidvania game that explores the lore of the Nîchehis. The player follows the adventure of Chiara, a young Lumen who seeks answers as to what happened to the Nîchehis. The plot is driven by the player’s choices with them impacting Chiara’s development and her fate.

  • Gameplay with Animation and Dialogue

    Context

    On the night of their wedding, Knight Lothric finds that his fair bride, Lady Alva has been locked inside of a tower. He rushes to free her, thinking that a dark wizard or dragon had stolen her away. However, Knight Lothric discovers that the enchantment locking away his lady is not as he first thought it.

    This is a script demonstrating how I am able to seamlessly integrate dialoue with in-game actions to create a compellig narrative.
